Kabaddi California was born from a deep love for our roots, our people, and the game that raised us — Kabaddi.
We started this page in 2022, fueled purely by the love of the game. We have grown to over 100,000 followers throughout social media. Kabaddi has been played here in California for over 30 years, with both local and international tournaments happening year after year. What began in the fields of Punjab has been thriving right here in the Golden State — and now, it’s time to take it to the next level.
We represent the traditional Punjabi circle style kabaddi, and our mission is to grow this sport beyond borders — to make it a Olympic sport, professional, global, and respected like the NFL, UFC, NBA, or MLB.

Kabaddi California was founded by Parmbir Khattra to honor and expand Punjabi Circle-Style Kabaddi, a sport deeply rooted in the villages of Punjab, for new audiences in the United States and worldwide. Since 2022, Parmbir has built the most-followed Kabaddi platform in America, with 5,000+ posts and over 100 million views, reaching over 100,000 fans worldwide. His mission is to connect communities, spotlight athletes, and professionalize the sport through media coverage, merchandise, and events—continuing to grow Kabaddi across California and beyond.
